Hadn't been out this way in a while and saw good reviews so we gave it a try. The gentleman who greeted us (owner?) could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We enjoyed our food ...fish sandwich, SLT, and the buttermilk chicken sandwich...was prepared quickly and served nice and hot. The fish sandwich was a generous hunk of mahi-mahi, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. All of us enjoyed our meal a great deal. Would highly recommend it if in the area.

I had passed this place all summer ! Finally had an opportunity to stop in to check it out! It's a casual atmosphere. You order at the counter and grab your food when it's ready. My daughter is a vegetarian and they had great options. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we ate outside. We were three and we all enjoyed our choices - tacos, soup and a salad! I will be going here often as it was absolutely delicious !

Our entire family went for lunch. We enjoyed our food. Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed the fish sandwich. We loved the platanos.

We picked up two fried chicken sandwiches and the amazing shallot dusted fries to go on our way to airport. Our food was ready when we arrived (we called ahead but I think you can also order through ChowNow) and Ian was great making sure we had everything we needed like utensils, forks etc. We were pleasantly surprised that the sandwich held up even though we didn’t eat until a little ways into our trip. The chicken was perfectly fried and crispy, the lettuce was fresh and even the bun was in great shape. Really appreciated the large parking lot because we were in such a rush and perfect location to jump back on the road without wasting time looking for parking.

While North Fork Shack is called a shack, it clearly is not a shack with Bentley sedans parked out front while their owners stop for a bite. The menu is quite refined with some great choices. The specials are fantastic too. We ordered the cod croquettes, but they were out so they allowed us to substitute with the Buffalo Mahi bites which were amazing. The New England Clam Chowder is also tasty and has tons of clams. The eggplant hummus with plantain chips was also terrific. Overall a great meal and definitely recommend.

What a great surprise, the food was delicious and Ian the owner made it feel like you were eating at a friend's house. The food was nicely prepared, make sure you stop by and try the lamb on pita or beet salad with fish.

We finally made it to The North Fork Shack and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Pulled Chicken Tacos which were amazing, great flavor and the chipotle aioli was tasty. The Plantain Chips were lightly salted and delicious. The Butternut Squash Soup was light and smooth with toasted pumpkin seeds on top. The vibe was casual and the staff was kind. I would definitely recommend checking it out. They are closed for the winter but open again in March.

Good rustic farm to table type spot with occasional music outside. Some outdoor seating and a good selection of different menu options. Cool place. The specials menu by the counter should always be checked out :).
